Bhubaneswar, 16 September (H.S.): On the occasion of World Ozone Day, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi reaffirmed the State’s commitment to protecting the ozone layer, conserving the environment and promoting sustainable development.

In a social media post, Majhi said World Ozone Day provides an opportunity to renew the collective commitment to safeguarding the ozone layer and maintaining the delicate balance of the environment.

He said Odisha is committed to promoting sustainable development, strengthening environmental conservation and building a greener and healthier future for generations to come.

The Chief Minister also called upon people to make responsible choices and contribute collectively towards creating a cleaner and greener environment. He said such efforts would help advance the vision of a clean, green and prosperous Odisha.
