New Delhi, 16 September (H.S.): Gold prices showed a weak trend in the domestic bullion market during early trading on Wednesday. Following the decline, gold became cheaper by Rs 850 to Rs 920 per 10 grams in most bullion markets across the country. Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged for the third consecutive day and continued to trade at Tuesday’s levels during early trading.

Following the latest price movement, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 1,53,160 and Rs 1,53,310 per 10 grams in most bullion markets across the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was selling in the range of Rs 1,40,390 to Rs 1,40,540 per 10 grams. With no change in silver prices, the precious metal continued to trade at Rs 2,44,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,53,310 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,40,540 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the country’s financial capital, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,53,160 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,40,390 per 10 grams. Similarly, in Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,53,210 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,40,440 per 10 grams.

Like bullion markets in other parts of the country, gold was also trading lower in Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha. In the capitals of these three states—Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar—24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,53,160 per 10 grams. Similarly, 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,40,390 per 10 grams in the bullion markets of all three cities.
