Amravati, 15 Sept (HS): Two people, uncle and

his nephew were killed, while returning to their home town on a motorcycle after

playing Banjo at a Ganesh Utsav celebrations. Both were hit at Amravati’s ring

road on Monday night by a truck. They played Banjo in Amravati and were going

home at Achalpur, when they came under a wheels of a truck.

The deceased have been identified as Vikky

Shankarrao Ambhore (25) and Abhay Vilas Sabde (18), both residents of Achalpur.

The two were hot by a truck (GJ 03, BV 778). Both came under the wheels of the

truck near Amba Park and were crushed to death on the accident site.

Ambapeth Police rushed to the accident site

and send the bodies for the post-mortem. The driver and cleaner of the truck

were arrested. Police have initiated an investigation into the case.
