Thackeray-led Shiv Sena has given a call for people’s agitation on Marathwada Liberation

Day on September 17. As a part of the agitation, demonstrations will be staged

in front of the Divisional Commission’s office in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

A meeting of representatives of Matrubhumi

Pratishthan and Shiv Sena (UBT) was held to review preparation for the

agitation. Representations from various districts in Marathwada attended. An

appeal has been made for people in Marathwada to participate in large numbers

in the proposed agitation on September 17.
