Actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja have been in the spotlight amid ongoing speculation surrounding their married life. Meanwhile, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Govinda returned to Mumbai and performed Ganpati Bappa’s puja at his residence. Govinda, who was in the United States, arrived in Mumbai late at night and went straight home, where he joined his daughter Tina and son Yashvardhan for the prayers. However, Sunita Ahuja was not seen during the ceremony.

It may be noted that while Govinda was abroad, Sunita celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi on Monday with their children, Tina and Yashvardhan. At the time, she told the paparazzi that Govinda could not participate in the puja because he was abroad. Now, even after Govinda’s return to Mumbai, Sunita’s absence from the puja has once again drawn public attention.

Speaking to the media, Govinda said the tradition of Ganpati worship at their home had been passed down to him by his late mother and that the family had been observing it with deep devotion for years. He expressed happiness that his son Yashvardhan was now carrying the tradition forward. The actor prayed to Bappa for his son’s bright future and, while blessing his daughter Tina, wished that she would have a good life partner. Speaking about Yashvardhan’s career, Govinda said he wanted his son to achieve even greater success than he had himself.

Meanwhile, Govinda has also expressed his displeasure over the speculation surrounding his personal life. The actor has already taken a firm stand against what he describes as false reports concerning his family and private life, as well as misleading videos and other content generated using artificial intelligence.
