CM Dr. Yadav to Inaugurate Infosys’ New Software Development Block in Indore on Wednesday

Boost to Advanced Technological Capabilities and Talent Ecosystem in the State

Bhopal, 15 September (H.S.): Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate Software Development Block-2 (SDB-2) at the Infosys campus in Indore’s Super Corridor on September 16. Spread across 3.30 lakh square feet, the new block will further strengthen the state’s advanced technological capabilities and help build a stronger talent ecosystem focused on employment opportunities.

Infosys will leverage Madhya Pradesh’s growing talent pool while also strengthening its engagement with the state’s academic and technological ecosystem. As part of this, the company will expand its collaborations with IIT Indore, IIM Indore and Devi Ahilya University through skilling programmes and institutional partnerships.

More than 3,300 employees are currently working at the Infosys Indore campus, providing services to global clients across sectors including banking, financial services and insurance, healthcare, retail, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, and manufacturing.

The expanded centre will enhance the company’s capabilities in cloud services, application development, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and cybersecurity. This will further accelerate opportunities for advanced technology services and skill development in the state.

New Building Developed as an Energy-Efficient, Green Facility

The new Infosys building in Indore has been designed as an environment-friendly and energy-efficient facility and developed in accordance with green building standards. ItThe facility will feature low-energy cooling systems, smart building automation, rainwater harvesting and wastewater recycling, along with dedicated training and wellness facilities.
