Bhubaneswar, 15 September (H.S.): Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday extended their greetings to the people of Odisha on the occasion of Nuakhai, the major agrarian festival of western Odisha.

Governor Kambhampati described Nuakhai as a significant symbol of the rich culture and traditions of western Odisha. Extending his “Nuakhai Juhar” to the people, he prayed to Maa Karunamayi for the happiness and well-being of everyone.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi greeted the people on the occasion of the agrarian festival, describing Nuakhai as a major festival celebrated collectively by the people. He prayed for everyone’s life to be filled with happiness, peace and prosperity through the blessings of Maa Samaleswari.

Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik also conveyed his Nuakhai greetings, expressing hope that the sacred festival would bring happiness, peace and prosperity to all. He concluded his message with prayers to Maa Samaleswari.
