
Prayagraj, 14 Sept (HS): The national convention and
felicitation ceremony of the All India Vaishya Ekta Parishad was held at Swami
Bhajanananda Mrityunjay Dham in Jhunsi under the chairmanship of National
President Dr. Sumant Gupta. The program was inaugurated by lighting a lamp by
Minister of State Ravindra Jaiswal and Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani. Chief guest
Ravindra Jaiswal said that the Vaishya community is a revenue-generating
community. Youth should actively participate in politics, along with industry
and business, to create more jobs and serve the community.
Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani said that under the leadership of Dr.
Sumant Gupta, the unity and organization of the Vaishya community has
strengthened and the community is becoming stronger across the country.
National President Dr. Sumant Gupta demanded that traders
should be given 10 percent reservation in the Legislative Council and Rajya
Sabha and revenue generating traders should be nominated in government
corporations and important departments.
Guests from various districts were honored with robes and
mementos at the ceremony. MLA Vikas Gupta, District Panchayat President Rajesh
Agrahari, Pramod Gupta, business leader Satish Kesarwani, along with thousands
of Vaishya community members from Amethi, Rae Bareli, Fatehpur, Kaushambi,
Pratapgarh, and Kanpur, attended the event. The programme was conducted by
Hariom Agarwal and the vote of thanks was given by Satish Chandra Kesarwani.
