Adityanath celebrates the Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Ramdas Ji Maharaj, the
fourth Sikh Guru and founder of the holy city of Amritsar in Punjab. Maharaj is
known for his teachings on humility, selfless service (seva), and devotion.
Yogi Adityanath regularly emphasizes the Sikh Gurus' unparalleled contributions
and sacrifices to India's spiritual and cultural legacy, pointing out that
their values embody compassion and righteousness.
The Chief Minister expressed homage on social media, stating
that Guru Ram Das Ji's whole life was an inspirational symbol of service,
dedication, humility, and the finest human ideals. He highlighted that the
divine teachings and instructions of the Guru will forever steer society into
unity, selfless service (seva), and spiritual consciousness.
In a post on X, he remarked, “On the Jyoti-Jyot Day of Guru
Sahib Sri Guru Ramdas Ji Maharaj, the fourth Guru of the Sikh Panth, millions
and millions of salutations. His entire life is a symbol that inspires the
highest ideals of service, dedication, humility, and humanity. His divine
message will forever continue to guide society towards harmony, service, and
spiritual consciousness.”
