
Actress Rukmini Vasanth is set to appear in a completely new avatar in the upcoming Kannada film ‘Mangala Gowri’. The first look of the film, directed by Rahul P.K., has been unveiled, featuring Rukmini dressed in a police uniform and seated on a scooter. Veteran actress Malashri is also seen alongside her. The two actresses, representing different generations, will be at the centre of the film’s story.
Rukmini is known for her natural acting style and her versatility in portraying diverse characters. In ‘Mangala Gowri’, she will be seen playing a police officer for the first time. The film marks her second collaboration with director Hemanth M. Rao. The two previously worked together on ‘Sapta Sagaradaache Ello’. It is also Rukmini’s second film with KVN Productions, following her appearance in ‘Toxic’.
Produced under the banners of KVN Productions and Dakshinaayini Talkies, the film features music by Midhun Mukundan, while Srivatsan Selvarajan is handling the cinematography. The action sequences have been choreographed by Vikram More. Venkat K. Narayan and Hemanth M. Rao are producing the film.
Approximately 75 per cent of the film’s shooting has been completed, with the remaining work progressing at a brisk pace.
