Prayagraj, 14 Sept (HS): On the auspicious occasion of

Haritalika Teej, women performed puja with devotion and faith at the Samaya

Mata Temple in Katghar on Monday. During this, the women performed the ritual

worship of Mata Rani with sixteen adornments and prayed for the long life,

happiness, prosperity, and well-being of their husbands and their families.

The temple premises were crowded with married women since

early morning. The women offered makeup items to Mata Rani and performed the

ritualistic puja and aarti. It is believed that sincere prayers offered at

Samaya Mata's court fulfill wishes. After the puja, the devotees took prasad

and prayed for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the family.
