New Delhi, 14 September (H.S.): President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and several Union ministers extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of the country on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The leaders prayed to Lord Ganesha for peace, prosperity, happiness and well-being across the nation.

President Droupadi Murmu conveyed her Ganesh Chaturthi greetings to all Indians living in the country and abroad through social media platform X. She said Lord Ganesha symbolises wisdom, discernment, prosperity and auspicious beginnings.

The President said the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi brings renewed energy, knowledge and positivity into people’s lives and inspires them to move forward on the path of progress with new resolve. She prayed to Lord Ganesha for happiness, peace, good health and prosperity in everyone’s life.

Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan described Lord Ganesha as the remover of obstacles and a symbol of knowledge. He prayed that Lord Ganesha bless everyone with peace, prosperity and happiness. He also urged people to draw inspiration from the deity and overcome every challenge with faith and determination.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla wished that Lord Ganesha remove obstacles from the lives of all citizens and bless them with happiness, peace, prosperity and good health. He said the blessings of Lord Ganesha would provide renewed strength to the nation’s commitment to progress and public welfare.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said Lord Ganesha represents knowledge, wisdom, prosperity and auspicious beginnings. He said the festival encourages people to remain connected with India’s ancient cultural traditions while strengthening the spirit of unity, harmony and cooperation in society.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah prayed that the blessings of Ganpati Bappa would bring happiness, prosperity and auspiciousness into everyone’s life.

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari prayed to Lord Ganesha to continue showering His blessings upon everyone and raised the traditional devotional greeting, “Ganpati Bappa Morya.”

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju invoked the traditional prayer, “Vakratunda Mahakaya Suryakoti Samaprabha, Nirvighnam Kurume Deva Sarva-Kaaryeshu Sarvada,” and prayed to Lord Ganesha to bring happiness, prosperity, peace and success into people’s lives while removing all obstacles.

Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda also prayed that Lord Ganesha bring happiness, peace, good fortune and prosperity into the lives of citizens across the country.

Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav extended his greetings on Ganesh Chaturthi and expressed hope that, through the blessings of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, people’s lives would be filled with happiness, prosperity, peace and success.
