New Delhi, 13 September (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday joined leaders of BRICS member and partner countries, outreach invitees and heads of international organisations for the traditional family photograph at the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi.

The family photograph was taken at Bharat Mandapam, where the two-day summit was being held under India’s BRICS chairmanship. The gathering brought together leaders and senior representatives from several countries, highlighting the expanding reach and growing importance of the BRICS platform.

The summit provided an opportunity for participating countries to discuss cooperation in areas including economic development, technology, climate change, global governance, health and sustainable development.

Prime Minister Modi has emphasised that the strength of BRICS lies in its diversity and cooperation. He has also called for a greater role for the Global South in international decision-making and for solutions that reflect the needs and priorities of developing countries.

The family photograph was a symbolic moment of the summit, reflecting the participation of BRICS members, partner countries and invited international leaders in discussions on shared global challenges.
