Lucknow, 13 Sept (HS): Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of

Uttar Pradesh, has constantly greeted the public on the auspicious anniversary

of Lord Sri Varaha Jayanti. The festival commemorates Lord Vishnu's avatar as

Varaha (the holy boar), who saved Bhudevi (Mother Earth) from the demon

Hiranyaksha. The Chief Minister frequently sends messages via social media

sites. Varaha Dev signifies the triumph of virtue over evil in Hindu mythology,

as well as the maintenance of cosmic order (Dharma). The event is part of Yogi

Adityanath's and the state government's larger campaign to raise public

awareness of cultural pride, traditional heritage, and spiritual festivals in

Uttar Pradesh.

In a post on X, he mentioned, “On the sacred occasion of the

divine incarnation Lord Sri Varaha's holy Jayanti, heartfelt congratulations

and best wishes to all devotees and the people of the state. Lord Sri Varaha is

the eternal symbol of the establishment of righteousness, the protection of

creation, and the victory of dharma over adharma; may His grace bring

happiness, prosperity, and auspiciousness into everyone's life—this is the

prayer.”
