Guwahati, 12 September (HS): The final photo electoral rolls for all 40 constituencies of the Mising Autonomous Council (MAC) were published on Saturday, covering a total of 6,35,601 electors.

According to the final electoral data, the rolls comprise 3,17,343 male electors, 3,18,256 female electors and two electors under the ‘Other’ category. The electoral rolls cover 1,033 polling stations across the 40 constituencies.

The final rolls have been prepared following the delimitation of MAC constituencies in accordance with notifications issued by the Department of Tribal Affairs (Plain), Government of Assam, including notifications dated January 10, 2025 and July 21, 2026, along with subsequent notifications issued in this regard.

The constituency-wise final electoral roll without photographs will be available for inspection at the offices of Circle Officers and Block Development Officers. Copies will also be available at municipalities, town committees, sub-registrar offices, police stations, tea gardens and Gaon Panchayats within the respective constituencies.

Voters can access the rolls online through the OERMS portal and the websites of the concerned district administrations. Electors can verify their names using their EPIC numbers or download the roll for their respective polling stations through the Citizen Corner of the OERMS portal.

To ensure wider participation, the Commission will accept claims for enrolment in the MAC electoral roll up to the last date for filing nominations. The facility will cover eligible persons with reference to April 1, July 1 or October 1, 2026, subject to their names being included in the supplementary electoral roll of the Election Commission of India and possession of a valid EPIC.

The Commission has urged all eligible voters to verify their names and utilise the available facilities to ensure accurate and inclusive participation in the forthcoming MAC election.------------
