Cricket legend Virender Sehwag is set to embark on a new innings in the world of reality television. He will host the second season of the much-talked-about reality show ‘Rise and Fall’. Based on strategy, alliances and the contest for power, the show’s new promo was released on September 10, featuring Sehwag drawing parallels between the excitement and twists of the reality show and a cricket match. He said that, much like a cricket game, it would be difficult to predict until the very last moment what was going to happen next.
In the second season of ‘Rise and Fall’, 15 well-known personalities will be divided into two distinct groups. On one side will be the ‘Rulers’, who will enjoy the comforts of a luxurious penthouse, while on the other will be the ‘Workers’, who will be required to live in a basement. The contestants’ positions in the game will continue to change depending on their decisions, strategies and alliances. Money and influence will determine who moves ahead and who falls behind in the competition.
Produced by Banijay Asia, the show is based on a popular British format. The second season will be available to watch for free on Prime Video and MX Player. However, the makers have not yet announced its release date. Sehwag’s association with the show has further heightened viewers’ anticipation for the upcoming season.
