Deoria, 11 Sept (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and
Health Minister Brajesh Pathak sharply countered Samajwadi Party National
President Akhilesh Yadav's claim of forming the government in the state in the
year 2027. The Deputy Chief Minister, who reached Deoria district on Friday,
said that Uttar Pradesh has now changed. The people of the state have
completely rejected the Samajwadi Party. In the 2027 assembly elections, the
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will once again form the government
in the state with a huge majority. He said that the BJP government has taken the
state forward in the direction of development, good governance and better law
and order, the benefits of which are being received by every section of the
society.
Deputy Chief
Minister Brajesh Pathak said that the picture of Uttar Pradesh has changed rapidly
since 2017. It is consistently performing well on various development
parameters. Extensive work has been done in the state in the areas of roads,
electricity, health, education, industrial development, and other
infrastructure. He said that previously, Uttar Pradesh was associated with
backwardness, chaos, and poor law and order, but today the state is moving
forward in a new direction of development.
He stated that the government's goal is
to connect every part of the state with the mainstream of development. The
state's infrastructure has been strengthened through expressways, highways,
bridges, medical colleges, airports, and industrial projects. This has
increased investment opportunities and created employment opportunities for the
youth. He claimed that the state's per capita income has also improved
significantly.
Brajesh Pathak
said that the Samajwadi Party chief is more concerned about himself and his
family than the interests of the people of the state. He said that whenever the
Samajwadi Party had the opportunity to form a government in the state, the
Saifai family was given priority. He questioned how many opportunities were
created for the common youth, the poor, farmers, and other sections of the
society during the SP government.
The Deputy Chief
Minister said that during the SP government's tenure, the state was plagued by
hooliganism, anarchy, and riots. Common people lived in fear for their safety.
He sarcastically said that during that period, a situation similar to one
district, one mafia was prevalent. After coming to power, the BJP
government gave top priority to law and order and took strict action against
criminals. He said that the people of Uttar Pradesh are now moving beyond caste
and family politics and prioritizing development, security, and good
governance. The BJP government has worked with this vision. He expressed
confidence that the BJP will win a landslide majority in the 2027 assembly
elections and will once again form a BJP government in the state.
