Deputy Chief Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara said there was no dissatisfaction behind ex Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s visit to Delhi and said there was no need to attach any political significance to it.

Speaking to the media near his residence in Sadashivanagar, Dr. Parameshwara said Siddaramaiah had always maintained that he would abide by the decision of the Congress High Command. “If Siddaramaiah was unhappy, he would not have resigned from the post of Chief Minister. That chapter is over, and there is no point in repeatedly discussing the same issue,” he said.

He noted that Siddaramaiah is a member of the Congress Working Committee and said his visit to Delhi was a natural part of his political responsibilities.

Dr. Parameshwara also said the D.K. Shivakumar-led government had completed 100 days in office. “There are several challenges ahead, but we will face them with confidence and continue to provide good governance,” he said.
