Lucknow, 11 Sept (HS): Currently,

the color blue has taken center stage in Uttar Pradesh's politics. Bahujan

Samaj Party (BSP) national president Mayawati launched a scathing attack on the

Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) on Friday over the color blue. Posting on

social media, she wrote, Wearing blue clothes and scarves and setting up

blue stages will not change their casteist and capitalist mindset towards the

poor and marginalized. Nor are these people truly Ambedkarites or those who

call themselves so. Therefore, they should first purify their hearts and minds

regarding the true interests and welfare of the 'Bahujan Samaj.'

Former Uttar Pradesh Chief

Minister Mayawati said that these people, like chameleons, change their colors

every day when it comes to these classes. Meaning, they say one thing and do

the exact opposite. Especially with regard to their SP-PDA, their thinking,

conduct, character, and appearance have always been duplicitous and dishonest,

of which there are numerous examples. Everyone knows this. Therefore, the BSP

is the only well-wisher and Ambedkarite party for these classes, as is well

known.

People expelled from BSP are

opportunists: Mayawati said that those who are expelled from the BSP from time

to time due to indiscipline have mostly changed parties for these very reasons.

This alone should indicate that these individuals are completely selfish and

opportunistic. They cannot be in the best interests of any party. Moreover,

some of those expelled from the party play into the hands of other parties and

form small parties and organizations, which cannot serve the collective

interests of the Bahujan Samaj.

However, such parties cannot

contest elections without a coalition. They cannot even participate in any

government if it is formed. Those who frequently talk about bringing in

expelled party members or even advise them to form a party should first inspect

their own conscience.

Congress is a sinking ship: The

BSP chief said that the Congress Party is talking about taking the expelled

members into its party, so who would risk their future by joining a party that

is like a sinking ship? Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, while still alive,

specifically warned the Bahujan Samaj to distance themselves from this party.

Therefore, in the current circumstances, it is crucial for BSP members to

understand this in the interest of the party and the movement, and it would be

appropriate.

Ashok Siddhartha was forced to

retire: The National President explained that on the day the BSP asked Ashok

Siddharth to retire from politics, he did not immediately announce his

retirement. Because they tried all night to prevent him from doing so, he was

forced to announce his retirement the next day. When the time was right, more

details would be shared with party members.
