Starring powerhouse performers such as Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Divyenndu, ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ continues to put up a strong performance at the box office. Released in cinemas on September 4, the film has crossed the Rs.200-crore mark worldwide in just one week. The movie has so far recorded a global collection of approximately Rs.213 crore, while its earnings in India have reached Rs.148 crore.

The film has received an especially strong response at single-screen cinemas across Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Its earnings remained robust throughout the week, and even on Thursday, it registered a net collection of more than Rs.10 crore. Night shows witnessed healthy audience turnout. The film recorded an overall occupancy of around 43 per cent across India, while cities such as Lucknow and Jaipur reported occupancy levels of more than 60 per cent.

With a worldwide collection of Rs.213 crore, ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ has climbed to the fifth position among the highest-grossing Hindi films of the year. The strong response in overseas markets, alongside its performance in India, has further accelerated the film’s box-office run. The movie is now eyeing a place in the top three. It remains to be seen how far its earnings will climb in the coming days.
