Farrukabad, 11 Sept (HS): Cabinet Minister Jaiveer Singh

reached Gangapar on Friday to take care of the victims battling the horrors of

flood. With the aim of providing relief to the affected families, he

distributed relief material kits and snakebite relief grant cheques at the

Government Industrial Training Institute, Amritpur. On this occasion, District

Panchayat Administrator Monica Yadav, MLA Amritpur Sushil Kumar Shakya, MLA

Kaimganj Dr. Surabhi and District President BJP Fatehchandra Verma and other

public representatives were also present.

At the event, the Minister in charge distributed relief kits

to 100 flood-affected families and a snakebite relief grant cheque to one

beneficiary, stating that the state government stands with all sensitivity

behind the flood-affected citizens. Providing essential assistance to affected

families during this difficult time of disaster is a top priority for the

government. He added that the district administration is continuously

conducting relief and rescue operations in flood-affected areas, providing

food, drinking water, health services, and other essential amenities to the

affected people.

The Minister in charge directed officials to ensure no

negligence in relief operations in flood-affected areas. The

government-approved relief and assistance should be delivered to every eligible

affected family in a timely manner. He said that the problems of flood-affected

people should be resolved on a priority basis and the availability of relief

materials and other essential resources should be maintained as needed.

On this occasion, District Magistrate Dr. Ankur Lathar,

Superintendent of Police Aarti Singh, Additional District Magistrate Finance

and Revenue Arun Kumar Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police Girish Kumar

Singh, Sub-District Magistrate Amritpur Shweta Sahu, Tehsildar Amritpur

Shashank Singh along with concerned officers and employees were present.
