
Cine Kind Awards 2026 are being organised to honour personalities who use cinema to promote social causes and foster compassion and sensitivity. Organised in collaboration with the Film Federation of India and People for Animals, the initiative focuses on recognising individuals and organisations working towards kindness, empathy and animal welfare. Among the prominent personalities being honoured this year are Anant Ambani, John Abraham, Raveena Tandon, Wamiqa Gabbi, Kalyan Varma, Amit Rai and Rajan Shahi. Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh will also be felicitated.
Through the Cine Kind Awards, filmmakers, artistes, journalists, innovators and individuals working at the grassroots level to bring about meaningful change will be recognised. According to the organisers, cinema is not merely a medium of entertainment but can also serve as a powerful vehicle for positive social change and for cultivating a greater sense of compassion in society. As part of the initiative, organisations and individuals who have made sustained contributions to animal welfare and social transformation will also be honoured.
The Film Federation of India is an organisation representing various segments of the Indian film industry, while People for Animals works in the areas of animal rescue, rehabilitation, awareness and animal rights. Both organisations aim to strengthen the connection between cinema, culture and social responsibility.
The jury for the Cine Kind Awards includes prominent names such as Sonu Sood, Hema Malini, Zeenat Aman, Sonakshi Sinha and Shriya Saran. According to the organisers, the initiative seeks to spotlight individuals who, through their influence and work, are contributing towards making society more compassionate and socially conscious.
