
Lucknow, 11 Sept (HS): On the occasion of his birth
anniversary, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered emotional
homage to Bharat Ratna Acharya Vinoba Bhave, the pioneer of the Bhoodan
Movement. The Chief Minister paid tribute to Vinoba Bhave's Bhoodan (Land-Gift)
program, which promotes social justice and compassion. He said that Bhave's
life of humility, penance, and service lay the groundwork for societal peace
and public welfare. CM Yogi stated that Acharya Vinoba Bhave's Bhoodan movement
spread a magnificent message of social justice, compassion, and peace in
society. He emphasized that Vinoba Bhave ji dedicated his whole life to
sacrifice, service, truth, and human welfare, and that he would always be an
inspiration to his people. The Chief Minister lauded his historic 'Land-Gift
Movement' (Bhoodan Yagna) for the rights of the impoverished and landless.
In a post on X, he remarked, “On the birth anniversary of
the great freedom fighter and 'Bharat Ratna' Acharya Vinoba Bhave, who spread
the message of social justice and compassion through the Bhoodan Movement,
humble tribute. By making sacrifice, penance, and service the foundation of
life, he paved the way for social harmony and public welfare. His life, full of
simplicity and purity, will always remain a source of inspiration.”
