Haldwani, 10 September (H.S.): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin offered prayers at the Ashtabhuja Shri Mahalakshmi Temple in Beripadav, Haldwani, on Thursday. He prayed to Goddess Mahalakshmi for the happiness, prosperity, peace and well-being of the people of the country and Uttarakhand.

Nitin Nabin reached the temple at around 9 a.m. as scheduled and performed the rituals and offered prayers. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, BJP state president and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt, BJP National Media Coordinator and MP Anil Baluni, along with several senior party office-bearers, were also present on the occasion.

Party workers and local residents welcomed the BJP president upon his arrival at the temple. After offering prayers, he also met with people present on the temple premises.

During his Uttarakhand visit, Nitin Nabin is participating in various programmes in Haldwani. After visiting the temple, he is scheduled to attend a youth interaction programme at Hotel Amardeep. He will subsequently participate in a programme organised to mark the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant and attend a felicitation ceremony for ex-servicemen and personnel of paramilitary forces. He will also participate in the Punjabi Gaurav Sammelan at the Ark Hotel and Resort on Rudrapur Road.
