memories,” UP CM remarked in a post on X.

On Thursday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to the great

freedom fighter, former Home Minister of the country and first Chief Minister

of Uttar Pradesh, Bharat Ratna Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant, by laying flowers at

Ballabh Pant became the first Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. At that time,

Uttarakhand was also part of Uttar Pradesh. He presented the system of such a

large state as a model of good governance, and worked for economic development

and the interests of every section of society. Pant implemented many important

reforms. His land reform model was also significant.

Minister. As Home Minister, he intelligently resolved the ongoing linguistic

conflict within the country and attempts to create new divisions in society. He

also played a key role in establishing Hindi as the official language.

“On the birth anniversary of the great freedom fighter, former Home Minister

of the country, and first Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, 'Bharat Ratna' Pt.

Govind Ballabh Pant, humble tribute. His visionary leadership, love for Hindi,
