Guwahati, 10 September (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday said that the problems faced by every family in the state are his own and assured that efforts are being made to extend help to people seeking assistance during difficult times.

In a social media post, Sarma said that while visiting Tamulpur, a mother had approached him seeking financial assistance for her daughter’s kidney transplant.

“Every family’s problem in Assam is my own problem. I try to help everyone who approaches me seeking assistance in times of distress,” the Chief Minister said.

He further informed that treatment is underway to give the young girl a new lease of life.------------
