
Kaushambi, 01 Sept (HS): Five
patients injured in the firecracker factory explosion and admitted to Swaroop
Rani Nehru Hospital were being treated. Of these, Rajesh Kumar, age 50, who was
in extremely critical condition and on ventilator support, was provided
intensive care and life-saving treatment by a team of doctors. Despite all
medical efforts, he passed away at approximately 1:00 pm today. The second
patient, who is on ventilator support, remains in critical condition. He is
being closely monitored and treated by the critical care team.
The condition of the remaining
three patients is currently stable and their necessary treatment and regular
monitoring is continuing. Under the guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. A.K. Verma,
the medical team of Trauma, Critical Care, Surgery and related departments are
continuously engaged in the treatment and monitoring of patients.
