Lucknow, 01 Sept (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken note of the

loss of life, livestock, and economic losses caused by the continuous rainfall

in Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi has directed all senior officials to go

to the field. He has also appealed to people not to venture out unnecessarily

during the inclement weather.

Chief Minister Yogi has given instructions on Tuesday to provide all

possible assistance to the affected families. He has instructed the officials

to ensure that the public does not face any problem due to waterlogging. He has

given instructions to assess the loss of life, animal loss and financial loss

caused by heavy rain and lightning and provide compensation within two to four

hours. He said that the responsible officers should go to the field. Go to the

spot, assess the situation and get the rescue work done. The officers should

communicate with the affected families and provide all possible assistance.

Chief Minister Yogi has appealed to the people of the state to avoid leaving

their homes unnecessarily during bad weather due to the danger of lightning.

During heavy rains, special precautions should be taken when bathing in rivers

and reservoirs.

It is noteworthy that heavy rain has been falling in many districts of the

state since Tuesday morning. Some districts have been experiencing rain since

Monday. Today, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain

in 30 districts, including Ambedkar Nagar, Amethi, Ayodhya, Badaun, Bahraich,

Balrampur, Lucknow, Bareilly, and Gonda.
