New Delhi, 01 September (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday highlighted the importance of keeping one’s plans and strategies confidential until they have been successfully carried out, sharing a Sanskrit verse as part of his Subhashitam post on X.

Prime Minister Modi shared the following Sanskrit verse on X:

“यस्य कृत्यं न जानन्ति मन्त्रं वा मन्त्रितं परे।

कृतमेवास्य जानन्ति स वै पण्डित उच्यते॥”

Explaining the meaning of the verse, the Prime Minister said that a person whose actions, plans, confidential thoughts and strategies remain unknown to others until they have been successfully accomplished is regarded as truly wise.

The message emphasised the virtues of discretion, prudence and seriousness, underlining that a thoughtful and disciplined individual does not reveal plans prematurely but allows the outcome of their efforts to speak for itself.
