Guwahati, 01 September (HS): Assam Police have busted an inter-state car theft racket in Guwahati and arrested nine people, including two alleged masterminds, in connection with the gang.

According to police, the accused allegedly used a “master key” to steal vehicles. The racket was busted by the Basistha Police, who apprehended the nine-member gang during an operation.

Police are conducting further investigation to trace the stolen vehicles and identify other people linked to the inter-state network.------------
