Bhubaneswar, 01 September (H.S.): The Odisha Government is stepping up its efforts to attract fresh investments to the state, with a high-level delegation led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi scheduled to visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to showcase Odisha’s investment potential and engage with prospective investors.
Odisha Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain said the delegation will be in Dubai from September 8 to 11 as part of the state government’s investment outreach programme.
During the visit, the delegation is expected to organise roadshows and business interactions with leading investors and industry representatives. The engagements will focus on highlighting Odisha’s industrial strengths, investor-friendly policies and emerging opportunities across key sectors.
The UAE outreach is aimed at strengthening engagement with global business communities and attracting new investments to Odisha. The delegation is expected to present the state as an emerging investment destination, backed by its natural resources, industrial infrastructure and policy support.
A special programme for the Odia diaspora will also be organised in Dubai during the visit. The interaction is intended to strengthen ties with Non-Resident Odias and encourage their participation in the state’s economic and industrial development.
The government expects the UAE visit to generate greater investor interest in Odisha, facilitate new business partnerships and support the creation of fresh investment and employment opportunities across the state.
