Guwahati, 01 September (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday extended his warm greetings to everyone associated with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati on the institution’s Foundation Day.

In a social media post, the Chief Minister described IIT Guwahati as an important outcome of the Assam Accord. He expressed hope that the premier institute would continue to open new horizons in knowledge, innovation and research and bring greater pride to Assam in the coming years.

Dr. Sarma wished the institution continued success and further achievements in the fields of education, research and innovation.-----------
