Actress Aneet Padda, who rose to prominence with the film ‘Saiyaara’, is set to feature in the upcoming crime-suspense thriller series ‘Hunkkaar – The Roar’. The official teaser of the series has been released, offering a glimpse of Padda’s intense and compelling performance. The series also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh in a lead role, marking her first portrayal of a female police officer. Arjun Mathur, Ram Kapoor and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub will also be seen in pivotal roles.

The teaser opens with Meenu Rawat, played by Aneet Padda, arriving to file a complaint against the injustice she has faced. However, the man accused of the wrongdoing, known as ‘Bapji’, is portrayed as a powerful and highly respected figure in society. What follows is a gripping glimpse into fear, pressure, crime and a courtroom battle, building anticipation for the series.

Directed by Nitya Mehra, the series has been produced by Birla Studios and Applause Entertainment. ‘Hunkkaar – The Roar’ explores the struggle and the courage to raise one’s voice against injustice in society.

The series is scheduled to premiere on JioHotstar on September 25.
