
Bijnor, Aug 8 (HS): A grand statue of Lokmata Ahilyabai
Holkar was unveiled on Saturday in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh
government minister Bhupendra Chaudhary, while formally unveiling the statue at
Ramlila Square, said that Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar accomplished significant
work on issues related to Hindu society, the country's tradition, heritage, and
faith. She dedicated her life to the nation's development, serving the country
and society.
The Municipal Council has installed a statue of Ahilyabai
Holkar at the intersection near Ramlila Maidan. Along with the installation of
the statue, the intersection has also been beautified. Locals were enthusiastic
about the unveiling ceremony. After the unveiling, Yogi government minister
Bhupendra Chaudhary said that Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar performed significant
work on issues related to Hindu society, the country's tradition, heritage, and
faith. She dedicated her entire life to serving the country and society.
He said that Ahilyabai Holkar's work continues to inspire
millions of believers. In his address, he also mentioned the attacks on centers
of tradition, culture, and faith by foreign invaders. On this occasion, many
BJP leaders and officials, including BJP District President Bhupendra Chauhan
Bambi, Municipal Council President Indira Singh, District Panchayat President
Sakendra Pratap Singh, Jhalwa Municipal Council President Lokendra Chaudhary,
and Subhash Valmiki, were present. A large number of people from the Pal
community also participated in the statue unveiling ceremony. Locals welcomed
the installation of the statue and the beautification of the intersection.
