
New Delhi, 07 August (H.S.): Private airline Akasa Air on Friday launched its loyalty programme, ‘Akasa Elevate’, on the completion of four years of its operations. The airline’s founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Vinay Dube described the journey so far as highly exciting and rewarding.
According to a statement issued by the airline, the objective of the programme is to provide passengers with an enhanced travel experience along with various exclusive benefits. The airline said it commenced flight operations on August 7, 2022, and has completed four successful years of service.
The company said that under the ‘Akasa Elevate’ programme, members will be able to earn points on eligible flights as well as on ancillary products and services. The airline added that the loyalty programme has been designed to offer customers greater value, personalised recognition and improved travel benefits in return for their continued association with the airline.
The airline said, “Four years of connecting people, places and possibilities.” It added that whether customers want to progress quickly through membership tiers, access unlimited priority services or enjoy greater flexibility, every feature of the programme has been thoughtfully designed to enhance their travel experience.
Akasa Air stated that the programme is a special way of expressing gratitude to its customers and encouraging them to be a part of the airline’s growth journey.
The airline further said it remains committed to contributing to the growth of India’s aviation sector by making air travel more accessible. It also expressed gratitude for the support received from the Government of India and the Ministry of Civil Aviation and said it looks forward to continuing its service to the nation.
