Lucknow, August 05 (HS): It is

surprising to defame the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple: Chief Minister Yogi said

that it is surprising to cast aspersions on saints and sages, to insult and

defame Ayodhya Dham, to defame Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. The CM said that an

FIR was registered on the SIT report and eight people were arrested, out of

which 6 were found misappropriating the money meant for offerings. So far 8

people have been arrested. The Chief Minister said that contempt of the

Speaker's bench was committed in the House today. An attempt was made to

disrupt the proceedings by waving placards. The opposition is only playing

politics to spread confusion and damage the positive image of the state.

CM Yogi gave a statement after

coming out of the House: Following the uproar in the House, Chief Minister Yogi

Adityanath addressed the media outside, stating that the SIT investigation into

the Ram Temple offerings case had found no involvement of saints and sages.

Nevertheless, the opposition is distorting facts and attempting to defame

Sanatan, Ayodhya, and the temple. After the proceedings were adjourned, the

Chief Minister, emerging from the House, told reporters that those who opened

fire on Ram devotees and questioned the existence of Lord Shri Ram and Shri

Krishna are now talking about Ayodhya and faith.
