Lucknow, August 05 (HS): Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar

accused the Samajwadi Party (SP) of avoiding talks during the present state

Assembly session, claiming that the opposition is concerned about scrutiny of

its past governance if debates begin. On the third day of the Uttar Pradesh

Assembly session, Rajbhar indicated that the BJP-led state administration is eager

to discuss any issue taken up by the opposition, but that the SP is hesitant to

participate in debate. The Samajwadi Party avoids debate, but the

administration is willing to discuss any subject. They are afraid that the

conversation may disclose their prior records. Throughout the Samajwadi Party's

rule, exam papers were routinely leaked. Previous regimes were characterized by

extensive hooliganism on the streets. Rajbhar believes this is why the opposition

is hesitant to take part in the debate.

He sharply criticized SP, claiming that throughout its five-year reign,

there were frequent examination paper leaks and anomalies in recruiting

processes. He said that these issues had a negative impact on pupils and that

government employment had been sold during the previous era. In response to

charges about contributions received for the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Rajbhar

stated that a FIR had been filed and that an inquiry was underway as per due

process. He emphasized that no saints or religious leaders were engaged in the

probe, and anyone found guilty would face consequences.

Responding to the Leader of Opposition Regarding Rahul Gandhi's comments on

numerous matters, Rajbhar accused the Congress leader of making controversial

statements while claiming they have no political consequence. He noted that the

state is advancing along a progressive path, with the administration focusing

on growth across sectors.

In response to Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya's statements about

madrasa investigations, Rajbhar stated that not all madrasas should be treated

the same, but institutions receiving complaints should be examined and those

found guilty punished.
