Prime Minister Narendra Modi Meets Newly Elected Members of Parliament


New Delhi, 05 August (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday held a breakfast meeting with the newly elected Rajya Sabha members of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) at his residence. Several MPs who recently joined the NDA and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from other political parties were also present at the meeting.

Those who attended the meeting included BJP president Nitin Nabin, Swati Maliwal, Vinod Tawde, Sujit Kumar, Alka Gurjar, Ashok Mittal, Tarun Chugh and several other Members of Parliament.

During the interaction, Prime Minister Modi advised the MPs to maintain regular attendance in Parliament and actively participate in its proceedings. He laid special emphasis on maintaining restraint, courtesy and dignified conduct in public life.

The Prime Minister also advised the MPs to use social media and technology responsibly and cautiously. He urged them to stay away from the influence of “Lutyens’ Delhi” and remain connected with the common people.

After the meeting, several MPs shared their experiences of interacting with the Prime Minister on social media. They appreciated Prime Minister Modi’s guidance, simplicity and inspiring leadership, stating that they are committed to working with full dedication to advance the vision of a developed India and fulfil the expectations of the people.

BJP president and Rajya Sabha member Nitin Nabin shared pictures of the meeting on his X handle and wrote that he participated in the interaction held with the newly elected Rajya Sabha MPs along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, all the newly elected members are fully committed to giving new momentum to the vision of a developed India and working with complete dedication to meet the expectations of the people.
