
Kathmandu, 05 August (H.S.):
An Indian devotee drowned to death on Monday night in Telha Pokhari, located near the Janaki Temple in Janakpur Dham, Nepal.
According to Madhusudan Neupane, spokesperson of the Dhanusha District Police Office, the deceased was identified as 20-year-old Adarsh Kumar Jha, a resident of Hajipur in Bihar, India.
Police said that shortly after the incident, local youths rescued Adarsh Kumar Jha from the pond and rushed him to the Provincial Hospital in Janakpur Dham for immediate medical treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
