Lucknow, August 05 (HS): Uproar and sloganeering continued in the monsoon

session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Wednesday. Expressing

displeasure over the Samajwadi Party's (SP) uproar and protests in the House,

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the SP is anti-democracy, anti-Dalit,

and anti-social. It has no interest in development, which is why it is not

discussing development issues during the supplementary budget debate. However,

the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government's commitment is and will remain to

development.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, speaking to the media, labeled the Samajwadi

Party as anti-development, anti-youth, anti-women, and anti-democracy.

He

stated that the state government presented a supplementary budget of over Rs. 59,000

crore, but the Samajwadi Party (SP) created various obstacles. This

supplementary budget included proposals for honorarium increases for Anganwadi

workers, cooks, ration dealers, watchmen, and ASHA workers, and for the

construction of expressways. This is intended to promote the development of all

sections of society. Furthermore, the supplementary budget also includes

provisions for the installation, maintenance, and construction of boundary

walls for statues of Constitution-maker Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, Saint Ravidas,

social reformer Jyotiba Phule, and Lokmata Ahilyabai. However, the Samajwadi

Party members displayed their anti-Dalit stance in the House, demonstrating

their lack of respect for these great figures.

Speaking to the media outside the Assembly, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

said that the Samajwadi Party had created obstacles in the honorarium of

thousands of Shikshamitras in the state, but our government has increased the

honorarium to Rs. 18,000 and also increased the honorarium of instructors.

Similarly, the supplementary budget includes plans and proposals for the

development of the state, as well as suggestions and work given by various

public representatives, but the SP is against development and democracy. We

want to assure the people of the state that despite the anti-development

attitude of the Samajwadi Party, the double-engine government will continue to

work for the development of the state and will not allow any kind of deficiency

in development.
