New Delhi, 05 August (H.S.): Gold prices declined during early trading in bullion markets across India on Wednesday, while silver prices remained unchanged. Except for Chennai, gold prices fell by ₹200 to ₹220 per 10 grams in most major bullion markets. In Chennai, however, gold witnessed a steeper decline, falling by ₹520 to ₹570 per 10 grams.

Following the decline, 24-carat gold was trading between ₹1,43,990 and ₹1,44,140 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was priced between ₹1,31,990 and ₹1,32,140 per 10 grams. With no change in silver prices, the white metal continued to trade at ₹2,34,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,44,140 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at ₹1,32,140 per 10 grams.

In Mumbai, the country's financial capital, 24-carat gold was selling at ₹1,43,990 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at ₹1,31,990 per 10 grams.

In Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,44,040 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was trading at ₹1,32,040 per 10 grams.

Among other major cities, Chennai recorded 24-carat gold at ₹1,43,990 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,31,990 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, prices were identical, with 24-carat gold trading at ₹1,43,990 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,31,990 per 10 grams.

In Bhopal, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,44,040 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at ₹1,32,040 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was selling at ₹1,44,140 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,32,140 per 10 grams. In Patna, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,44,040 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at ₹1,32,040 per 10 grams.

In Lucknow, 24-carat gold was available at ₹1,44,140 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was trading at ₹1,32,140 per 10 grams.

Gold prices also remained under pressure during early trade in the bullion markets of Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha. In the state capitals of Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,43,990 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at ₹1,31,990 per 10 grams.
