Guwahati, 05 August (HS): The 1st Battalion SSB, Sonapur, organised a Mini Marathon and Patriotic Run on Wednesday under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The event was organised by 'E' Company, Lokhra, under the guidance of Commandant Sunil Kaushik.

Inspector (GD) Milan Biswas, Coy Commander of 'E' Company, flagged off the run and urged people to proudly hoist the National Flag and contribute to nation-building. SSB personnel, local villagers, youth and citizens participated enthusiastically, carrying the Tricolour and raising patriotic slogans.

The programme concluded with participants taking a pledge to uphold the honour of the National Flag, serve the nation, and lead a healthy and disciplined life.----------
