
Bhubaneswar, 04 August (H.S.): Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati on Tuesday presented President Droupadi Murmu with a specially curated collection of Odisha's traditional handloom and handicrafts at Lok Bhavan before she departed for Brahmapur during her three-day visit to the State.
First Lady Jayshree Kambhampati was also present on the occasion.
The collection comprised a National Handloom Award-winning Sambalpuri Bandha saree, representing Odisha's GI-tagged handloom tradition, a handcrafted Pipili Appliqué velvet uttariya, and a finely crafted Cuttack Silver Filigree idol of Lord Ganesha.
These exquisite creations represent Odisha’s exceptional craftsmanship, vibrant traditions and artistic excellence, reflecting the State’s rich cultural identity and heritage.
