New Delhi, 04 August (H.S.): Gold prices remained largely steady across most bullion markets in India during early trading on Tuesday, with Chennai emerging as the only major market to record a notable increase. Gold prices in Chennai rose by ₹320 to ₹350 per 10 grams, while rates in other major cities remained unchanged.

Due to the flat trading trend, 24-carat gold was priced between ₹1,44,210 and ₹1,44,560 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was trading in the range of ₹1,32,190 to ₹1,32,510 per 10 grams. Silver prices also remained unchanged, with the metal continuing to trade at ₹2,34,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,44,360 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at ₹1,32,340 per 10 grams.

In the country's financial capital, Mumbai, 24-carat gold was selling at ₹1,44,210 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at ₹1,32,190 per 10 grams.

In Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,44,260 per 10 grams, with 22-carat gold trading at ₹1,32,240 per 10 grams.

Among other major cities, Chennai recorded the highest prices, with 24-carat gold trading at ₹1,44,560 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,32,510 per 10 grams.

In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was quoted at ₹1,44,210 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at ₹1,32,190 per 10 grams.

In Bhopal, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,44,260 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at ₹1,32,240 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,44,360 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,32,340 per 10 grams.

In Patna, 24-carat gold was available at ₹1,44,260 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at ₹1,32,240 per 10 grams.

In Lucknow, bullion rates remained unchanged, with 24-carat gold trading at ₹1,44,360 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,32,340 per 10 grams.

Gold prices also remained stable during early trading in the bullion markets of Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha. In the state capitals of Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,44,210 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at ₹1,32,190 per 10 grams.
