Lucknow, 31 Aug (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has sent
a special 'Pati' (letter) to the people of the state in honor of Shri Krishna
Janmashtami 2026, giving congratulations and best wishes.
Social harmony: According to CM Yogi, Lord Krishna is not just a symbol of
nobility but also of harmony, and he stands with all sections of society.
Spiritual Message: Lord Krishna's boyhood pranks are more than simply
anecdotes; they convey profound spiritual truths of simplicity, love,
innocence, and public benefit.
Dharma and Truth: According to the letter, Nandlala's appearance in jail
diffused the light of truth and Dharma in the midst of darkness, deceit, and
injustice.
Special Appeal: The public has been asked to preserve their cultural
heritage, promote mutual brotherhood, and pledge to build a glorious and
developed Uttar Pradesh.
“My esteemed fellow citizens of the state, On the midnight of Bhadrapada
Krishna Ashtami, when Nandlala manifested in the prison of Mathura, the light
of truth and righteousness burst forth amidst the darkness of untruth and
injustice. The life of Yogeshwar Lord Shri Krishna also inspires us with the
fundamental spirit of people-centric governance. Resistance against injustice,
protection of righteousness, safeguarding the weak, and public welfare were the
primary foundations of his life-philosophy. Today, with the same spirit, our
government is working to ensure dignity and security in the life of the person
standing on the last rung of society. Let us, on this Janmashtami, resolve to
preserve our heritage, foster social harmony, and build a developed and
glorious Uttar Pradesh, and imbibe the message of Shri Krishna's truth,
righteousness, action, and public welfare in our lives,” reads the letter
penned by UP CM.
