The wait for the third instalment of Netflix’s popular anthology film franchise ‘Lust Stories’ is set to end soon. According to reports, ‘Lust Stories 3’ is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on September 18, 2026. However, the makers have not yet officially confirmed the release date. The franchise, which explores the complexities of relationships, desires and human emotions through four separate stories, began in 2018, while its second instalment was released in 2023.

‘Lust Stories 3’ has been directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra and Vishal Bhardwaj. According to reports, Motwane’s segment will feature Radhika Apte, Konkona Sen Sharma, Vijay Varma and Abhishek Banerjee. The other three stories will feature actors including Ali Fazal, Radhika Madan, Siddhant, Aditi Rao Hydari, Gurfateh Pirzada and Sana Thampi in key roles. Following the response received by the first two films from audiences and critics, anticipation surrounding the third instalment is also high.

The third instalment will once again explore themes of love, lust, relationships, desire and emotional complexities through a collection of distinct stories. The anthology will seek to present the intricacies of human relationships and suppressed emotions from fresh perspectives. The makers announced the third instalment in February 2026, when they shared its first look.
