Sunny Deol has been in the spotlight over his recently released film ‘Batwara 1947’. Released on August 14, the film failed to make a significant impact at the box office and has so far grossed around Rs 53.77 crore. However, leaving the film’s underwhelming performance behind, Sunny Deol has already moved on to his next project. The actor is currently busy shooting for ‘Antony’, an action thriller directed by Balaji Ganesh. The film is being produced by Farhan Akhtar under the banner of his production house, Excel Entertainment.

According to reports, Sunny resumed shooting for ‘Antony’ at Mumbai’s Film City on August 26 during the Raksha Bandhan period. The team is currently filming high-octane action sequences. Sunny will portray a police officer who is on a mission to expose a criminal syndicate. Under the direction of action choreographer Ravi Varma, the actor is filming thrilling sequences, including high-speed car chases. The action set pieces are reportedly being mounted on a grand scale.

Sunny Deol is also expected to perform several action sequences himself in ‘Antony’. Reports suggest that he will personally participate in a number of stunt sequences, including fast-paced car chases. The film also features Jyotika and Vijay Varma in key roles, with Vijay Varma set to portray a negative character.

After wrapping up the shoot for ‘Antony’, Sunny Deol will reportedly begin work on ‘Ramayana: Part 2’, which stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.
