New Delhi, 31 August (H.S.):
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday highlighted the importance of cultivating positive, auspicious and welfare-oriented thoughts while sharing a Sanskrit verse as part of his ‘Subhashitam’ post on X.
Sharing the Sanskrit verse,PM Modi wrote:
“यद् यदेव प्रसक्तं हि वितर्कयति मानवः ।
अभ्यासात् तेन तेनास्य नतिर्भवति चेतसः ।।”
Explaining the meaning of the verse, the prime minister said that whatever a person repeatedly thinks about gradually begins to attract and influence the mind.
“Whatever subject or object a person repeatedly reflects upon, the mind gradually becomes inclined towards it through constant practice. Therefore, we should always contemplate thoughts that are good, auspicious and conducive to the welfare of all,” PM Modi said in his post.
