Golaghat (Assam), 31 August (HS): A devastating fire broke out in Bokakhat, Assam, causing extensive damage to the area. According to preliminary reports, as many as 14 LPG cylinders exploded during the blaze, intensifying the fire.

The fire reportedly engulfed and completely gutted 14 commercial establishments. The explosions created panic in the area, while visuals of the incident showed the frightening impact of the cylinder blasts.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the financial losses are yet to be ascertained. Further details are awaited.-----------
