The domestic bullion market witnessed a marginal downward trend during early trading on Monday, with both gold and silver showing slight weakness. Following changes in prices, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 1,58,230 and Rs 1,58,380 per 10 grams across most major bullion markets in the country.
Similarly, 22-carat gold was being sold in the range of Rs 1,45,040 to Rs 1,45,190 per 10 grams.
Silver also recorded a marginal decline. In the Delhi bullion market, the precious metal was trading at Rs 2,54,900 per kilogram during early trading on Monday.
In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,58,380 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,45,190 per 10 grams.
In Mumbai, the country's financial capital, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,58,230 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,45,040 per 10 grams.
In Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,58,280 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,45,090 per 10 grams.
In Chennai, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,58,230 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,45,040 per 10 grams.
Similarly, in Kolkata, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,58,230 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,45,040 per 10 grams.
In Bhopal, the price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,58,280 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was available at Rs 1,45,090 per 10 grams.
In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,58,380 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,45,190 per 10 grams.
In Patna, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,58,280 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,45,090 per 10 grams.
In Lucknow's bullion market, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,58,380 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,45,190 per 10 grams.
Bullion markets in Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha also witnessed a marginal weakness in gold prices during early trading on Monday. In the capitals of these three states — Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar — 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,58,230 per 10 grams.
Likewise, 22-carat gold was being sold at Rs 1,45,040 per 10 grams in the bullion markets of all three cities.
